Ona Ahumada, MSN, FNP-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner | Gender-Affirming & Preventive Care
Ona Ahumada is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in internal medicine, preventive care, and gender-affirming healthcare. Trained at UCSF School of Nursing, where she earned both her RN and MSN, Ona completed a leadership fellowship focused on adolescent health—an early foundation for her lifelong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Throughout her career, Ona has provided primary care to diverse adult populations, with specialized expertise in HIV treatment and prevention (including PrEP), STD care, harm reduction, and trauma-informed support. Most recently, she served as the Gender-Affirming Care Specialist for the Colorado Department of Corrections, where she helped build inclusive systems of care within complex institutional settings.

Ona is known for creating a clinical environment that feels both safe and empowering. She takes a collaborative approach—listening deeply, honoring each patient’s goals, and working closely with specialists to ensure meaningful, long-term health outcomes. She warmly welcomes patients of all identities and backgrounds, and is especially honored to care for members of the LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse communities.
BETH ELLIOTT
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Beth is an Adult Nurse Practitioner specializing in internal medicine and women’s health. She brings over 24 years of experience in private practice, including 15 years at Family Centered Medicine. Beth earned both her BSN and MSN from Vanderbilt University. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find her hiking Colorado’s trails or spending time with her husband and their three kids.
NIKKI KINGSBURY
Medical Assistant
Nikki, affectionately known around the clinic as “Vampire” for her expert blood draws, has been with Family Centered Medicine since 2013. She graduated from Concorde Career Institute in 1999 and brings a warm, energetic presence to the care team. Nikki is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.

Erika is often the first face you’ll see when visiting the clinic. With years of experience in fast-paced healthcare settings, she’s known for her efficiency, attention to detail, and welcoming attitude. Erika helps keep the front desk running smoothly so patients can get the care they need — with a smile.
DAVID GOLIAS
Office Administrator
After spending many years in the tech industry corporate world, David joined Family Centered Medicine, where he helps manage the business side of things — from scheduling to revenue operations. He’s passionate about creating systems that help the clinic serve patients with care and compassion. Outside of work, David loves to travel and has a soft spot for cruise ships.
